Studio TOOJ is Ashley and Johan Wilén-Jong. Specialising in what they describe as ‘functional art’ their objects flirt with surrealism while striking a balance between ornamental and utilitarian. Interviewing the couple in an old Swedish castle, my partner and I created a film that explores the designers’ craft, inspirations and ideas.

BODY is an independently produced documentary short about Ukrainian contemporary artist Maria Kulikovska – a Displaced Person since Russia's invasion of Crimea in 2014. Graviditetstest
RFSU / House of Radon
Commercial
2020

Director – Daniela Rossi

RFSU (Swedish Association for Sexuality Education) is a nonprofit focused on sexual and reproductive health. This film was part of their “Graviditetstest” (Pregnancy Test) campaign, promoting the message that all feelings are valid when taking a pregnancy test. The team was an all-female crew which provided a safe and supporting environment for the narrative to flourish.

The film ran as a paid campaign on YouTube and Instagram and was featured in the Swedish publication Resume. It sparked new conversations around pregnancy, which I witnessed firsthand as women shared their personal stories with me as a result of my involvement with the film.

“It’s mid-autumn and the air is getting colder by the day. The trail of leaves left behind by the wind guides us into an old forest on Gotland...”
